Metatron House: Abstract Art by Graham Ryan

Born in Dublin, Graham Ryan also lived in Laois, Kildare, Mayo, Galway, Wexford and Waterford. He is currently living in Bath, UK. Balancing the fast pace of city life with the calming rhythm of the countryside, and under the influence of the sea, he finds inspiration everywhere.

Self-taught, he combines a wave-like motion with the lush palette of the seasons to produce a sometimes wild and eclectic mix of colours and visions. He uses fish knives and a wide range of instruments, which he has either customised or made himself to suit the various formats his work takes. Graham challenges his sense of perspective by painting on media ranging from 6"x 4" cards to 4'x4' wood panels.
